General, unrestricted gifts allow HCHF the flexibility to direct funds to areas in most need of resources.
Cancer Patient Assistance Program
Gifts fund the HCHF Cancer Patient Assistance Program. This program provides assistance with mortgage/rent, utilities, fuel, lodging, and more.
HCHF partnered with Charlotte, NC program, ChemoCars, to provide free rides to oncology related appointments. Gifts made are used to cover the cost of the rides, which utilize Uber and Lyft.
Cancer Survivorship Center
Provides free resources to cancer survivors such as wigs, counseling services, oncology massage, personal training, nutrition counseling, and more.
Enriches the lives of hospice patients and their families through assistance with basic personal care needs, family care baskets, and cost of care for those who cannot afford it.

Celebrate, Remember, Honor
all those affected by a cancer diagnosis
Program that raises funds through quarterly lunches. Funds are then granted to local non-profit organizations whose programs benefit the health of women.
Children's Miracle Network
Works to promote and improve the quality of children's healthcare. CMN accomplishes this through grants to individual families, local hospitals, surrounding rural hospitals, and more.
Friends of Fogelberg
This concert event with local musicians raises funds that provide a free PSA screening. The screening is a simple blood test that detects high levels of PSA, which can be a sign of prostate cancer.
Provides assistance to individuals with disabilities to have the opportunity to lead more productive lives.
Before ChemCars, Oscar would take a pillow and blanket to his chemo treatments and rest while waiting on public transportation.
Each cancer diagnosis is represented by a unique color. These locals cancer survivors are honored for their unique diagnosis and battle.
2018 Friends of Fogelberg FREE PSA Screening Event provided PSA Blood Tests to over 300 men. Of those tested, 23 were shown to have elevated PSA levels and referred for additional testing.
